CBIZ’s Credit Risk Advisory Group serves the needs of a diversified client base, including financial institutions, non-bank lenders, debt funds, private equity and hedge funds, institutional investors, and companies in need of debt or equity financing.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Perform due diligence and field examination assignments for the Group’s clients
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff; communicate effectively; conduct performance feedback and evaluations
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and share knowledge
- Assume significant client responsibility as a trusted advisor, identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solutions
- Manage staff on engagement deliverables; ensure quality control standards are met
- Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings and proposal development
- Responsible for billing and realization on assigned clients; develop overall engagement budget
- Understand client’s needs
- Drive a team environment; support management decisions and build a positive culture
- Make recommendations on internal department procedures
- Recognize business opportunities for clients and for CBIZ
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in ABL, Securitization, and Private Equity Due Diligence; or 10+ years as an Internal Auditor or Credit Reviewer within the Financial Services Industry
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years experience in public accounting or related field
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
- Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on business needs
The annual salary target for this job is $145,000-$170,000, determined based on education, experience, and skill set.
